CA Course Details After 12th

The CA course duration after the 12th is around 5 years. After clearing 12th, students become eligible for the CA Foundation exams and have to undergo a study period of 4 months. As a student clears the CA Foundation exam, they need to register and undergo the study period of 8 months for the CA Intermediate.

CA Course Duration After 10th

If you’re a class 10th student and want to become a CA, then you can start your journey just after your class 10th. Students now can take provisional admission in the CA Foundation course. However, they can give their exams, only after they cleared their class 12th.

The CA Course duration after class 10th is 7 years. The journey is same as the doing CA after 12th, just 2 years are added for the 11th and 12th class.

CA Course Duration After Graduation

The CA Course duration after graduation is 4.5 years. Students who are graduated can directly apply for the CA Intermediate Course. They don’t have to pass the CA Foundation exams. During this period, you have to undergo the 1-month training, 2.5 years of articleship, and the study period for CA Intermediate and Final. Duration of CA Course After Intermediate Level of ICSI/ICWA

Students who have cleared the Intermediate Level of ICSI or ICWA can directly register for the CA Intermediate course without appearing in the CA Foundation exam. They have to undergo a study period of eight months after registration to appear in CA Intermediate Examination. Thereafter, all the procedures for such Direct Entry Route students will be the same as normal route students.

CA Foundation Course Duration

CA Foundation Course is the entry-level test to pursue the Chartered Accountancy course, students after clearing their 12th can enroll for CA course. After registration, they have to undergo a four months study period to appear in the CA Foundation Exam. After giving the exams, you will get your CA Foundation result within 2 months of the day your exams get over.

CA Intermediate Course Duration

CA Intermediate is the second test after CA Foundation. After clearing the CA Foundation exams, students have to register for the CA Intermediate Course. Once the registration has been done, a candidate has to undergo a study period of eight months to appear in the CA Intermediate Exam. ICAI releases the CA Intermediate result within 2 months of the day your exams get over.

ICITSS

Students have to undergo 100 hours of Information technology and one week of Orientation program before the commencement of the Articleship Training. Most of the students complete such training while waiting for the CA Intermediate result.

CA Articleship Duration

The CA Articleship duration is of 3 Years and is a mandatory part of the Chartered Accountant course. Students become eligible to register for Articleship training once they passed either single or both groups of the CA Intermediate.

AICITSS is an Advance Information Technology and Management and Communication Skills Program. Students can undergo this program while pursuing their last two years of Articleship Training.

CA Final Course Duration

CA Final is the last level exam of the Chartered Accountant course. Students have to clear both the groups of the CA Intermediate, to register for the CA Final Course. One can appear in the CA Final Exam while completing their last six months of Articleship training.

You will become a Chartered Accountant once you cleared both the groups of CA Final and have completed your three years of Articleship Training.

  • Commerce stream – For students belonging to commerce stream, they need to get a minimum of 50% in their 12th class.
  • Other Streams – For students belonging to any other streams, they need to secure 55% excluding maths and 60% including maths in their 12th class.

CA Intermediate Course
