To get your CA Inter result for May 2023 through Email, visit the website – icaiexam.icai.org and register for the Email service. ICAI has opened the email registration link on their website. The registered students will get the CA Intermediate result on the result date.

1. Admit Card – If you’ve your CA Intermediate admit card, you can check the registration and roll number. These details are available on the admit card.

CA Intermediate Passing Criteria

Based on CA Intermediate Passing criteria, students need to score at least 40% marks in each subject and 50% in aggregate of all the subjects in a group. As the CA Intermediate course has 2 groups, students can clear one group at a time or go for both groups. 

Pass with Distinction – If a student clears all the CA Intermediate papers with an aggregate of 70% marks, he’ll get a statement of marks mentioning that the student cleared the exam with distinction.

ICAI releases the CA Inter toppers list of meritorious students every year. The merit list comprises of students who secure a minimum of 55% and above marks and up to the maximum of 50th Rank on an all-India basis.

Important Details regarding CA Intermediate Result May 2023

Statement of Marks

Statement of Marks will be sent to the students through the post soon after the CA Intermediate May 2022 result declaration. However, in case the student does not receive the same within 4-5 weeks from the date of the result declaration, you may write to [email protected].

CA Intermediate Pass Certificate

A pass certificate will be issued to the students who clear both groups of the CA Inter May 2022 Examination, either together or group-wise, within 60 days of the result declaration. However, if the students do not receive the same for any reason within eight weeks from the date of declaration of the ICAI CA Inter May 2022 result, the students may write to [email protected].

How to Check CA Intermediate Merit List May 2023?

Merit List contains the names of 50 All-India Ranks. To check the merit list:

1. First, visit the ICAI Intermediate result page (link mentioned above)
2. Now click on “Intermediate Examination” under “CHECK MERIT LIST”.

Grant of Exemption–CA Intermediate Result May 2023

Suppose a candidate has failed in one or more papers but has somehow secured 60% in any paper/papers. In that case, they are eligible for exemption in those papers for the three following or upcoming examination attempts. Exemptions granted in the paper are indicated by “#” against the marks awarded and the result is indicated by “F-Ex” in the statement of marks.

Verification of Marks

If students are unsatisfied with CA Intermediate May 2022 result, they can go for verification of marks. Once the result is published, you will have one month in hand to apply for verification of marks, according to ICAI guidelines.
