CA Intermediate Fees Structure 2020

The ICAI has initiated the registration for CA Intermediate 2020 with the board of studies. To register for CA Intermediate, students are required to fill the CA Intermediate form with payment with the amount specified on the ICAI website. CA Intermediate 2020 Eligibility

The two paths to becoming qualified for the CA Intermediate exam are as follows:

Route 1- By clearing CA foundation or CPT exam

Route 2- Through the direct entry to CA Intermediate

The eligibility for the CA Intermediate through direct entry is the following:

  1. Commerce student graduate or postgraduate should have scored a minimum of 55% marks and non- commerce graduate or postgraduate students should have scored a minimum of 60% marks.
  2. Candidates must have cleared the intermediate level of the institute of company secretaries of India and the institute of cost accountant in India.
  3. Graduate/postgraduate who have studied at least 3 subjects among Accounting, Auditing, Mercantile Laws, Corporate Laws, Economics, Management (including Financial Management), Taxation (including Direct Tax Laws and Indirect Tax Laws), Costing, Business Administration or Management Accounting (or similar subjects with different nomenclatures), securing a minimum of 55% in aggregate.

Examination Fee or Application Fee for the CA Intermediate Course

For the Intermediate single group, the examination fee or application fee is Rs 1500 and for both the groups the Intermediate examination fee is Rs 2700. The student from the foundation route can enroll either for a single group or both group exams according to their preparation. The examination fee for the single group is Rs 1500 and for both groups is Rs 2700. Direct entry route candidates have to register for both groups. They can also appear for single group exams. The examination fee for both groups is Rs 2700. Overseas students have to pay US$ 325 for a single group and US$ 500 for both the groups.

Journal Fee for the Intermediate Level 2020

Usually, journals are free of cost for the CA students for the intermediate level. Candidates who have registered under the direct entry route only have to pay for the journals. Direct entry route candidates have to pay Rs 200 for the subscription of the journals.

Students Activity Fees for Intermediate Level 2020

Activity fees are for candidates who wish to experience different workshops, seminars, conferences held by the ICAI for the CA intermediate level candidates. Students wishing to join these activities have to pay Rs. 2000.

ICITSS Fees for Intermediate Level 2020

The ICAI has revised the old practical training program of the information technology and orientation program into a combo pack of the ICITSS. For CA students, ICITSS is four weeks of mandatory training. This session goes for a minimum of six hours for 15 days. The training helps candidates to know more about the software used for accounting purposes and interaction with the outer world. The ICITSS fees for the intermediate level are Rs 13500. The validity is for 4 years. The students can re-validate again by paying Rs 400.

For India and Kathmandu, the late fee is Rs 600. And for overseas, the late fee applicable is US$ 10.

Fee for Students changing from old IPCC course to new Intermediate course- Students has to pay Rs 500 for changing the scheme only if the registration is still valid.

The fee structure for re-appearing again for Intermediate exam- To revalidate the intermediate registration, students need to pay Rs 400. The validity of the intermediate registration is for four years.

Documents Required for CA Intermediate Registration 2020

Given below are the documents required to submit to the regional office within seven days of the date of online registration along with the print out of the online registration form with the student’s signature on it.

  1. Foundation Route students have to submit attested copy of mark sheet of Class 12th or its equivalent
  2. The central government recognized examination pass marks statement.
  3. Direct Entry Route students have to submit an attested copy of the Graduation/ Post Graduation mark statements/mark sheet of Intermediate level examination of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India or theInstitute of Cost Accountants of India.
  4. One recent color photograph (affixed on the printout of the online successful registration form)
  5. Attested copy of proof of Nationality, if the student is a foreigner.
  6. Attested copy of proof of special category certificate,i.e, SC/ST, OBC, Differently abled.

CA Intermediate Application Form 2020

The candidates can proceed to fill the CA intermediate application form 2020 after successfully registering with the board of studies (BOS) for the CA intermediate examination. In the application form, students are required to fill the details such as contact details, educational qualification details, etc. Students are required to fill the form on the official website of ICAI.
