Who Can Apply for CA Intermediate Application Form May 2023?
Students who fulfil the following minimum eligibility criteria can apply for the exam form for the CA Intermediate.
- A student must have filled out the CA Inter Registration form.
- Students of commerce background with an aggregate of 55% and students from science and arts background with 60% marks from any approved university can enrol for CA Inter Exams.
- Candidates coming from the direct entry route method of CA must have cleared the CA Intermediate examination of the ICSI/ICWA Examination. To apply for the CA Intermediate Examination, these students should pass the examination before 1st March/1st September.

How To Fill CA Intermediate Exam Form May 2023?
To fill out the CA Inter exam form May 2023, follow the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1: Log in to the icaiexam.icai.org website with your unique credentials provided by ICAI.
Step 2: Do all the changes in your profile and click on the Apply Now button.
Step 3: Fill in the required details and click on Save & Preview.
Step 4: Click on the Back to Form option for editing your details. Once everything is properly filled, click on ‘I agree‘ and make the Final Submission by clicking on the Final Submit button.
Step 5: Pay the CA Intermediate exam form fee via Credit, Debit Card, Net Banking, VISA, or Bhim UPI.
Step 6: On the successful fee payment for CA Intermediate Exam Form, the portal will show a notification with payment details. (Note them for later reference.) A pdf file of the filled and submitted exam form will be generated. You need to download the pdf file.
If the form has your photograph and signature, your application for the CA Inter exams is successfully submitted. However, if the form does not have your photograph or scanned signature, then you need to follow these steps.
- Take a printout of the exam form and attach your latest coloured passport-size photo. Then, sign the form.
- Get the form attested by a Gazetted Officer.
- At last, send the physical copy of the CA Intermediate Exam Form after the above attachments and formalities are completed.
ICAI will ignore the submission of forms with photos pasted on already appearing photographs in the PDF and over-signed signatures. And no such changes will be made.

CA Intermediate Application Form Submission with Late Fee
Many candidates forget to submit the form within the due date. In that case, ICAI gives one more chance to them to submit the Intermediate exam form with late fees of Rs. 600.
Things to Remember before Applying to the CA Inter Exam Form
There are some common mistakes that candidates might commit while filing their exam forms. So, VSI advises the students to read all the points carefully and then proceed with the form.
- Do not fill out your exam form through your mobile phone. Always use a laptop or computer with a good internet connection.
- Do not fill out two application forms simultaneously, even for two different candidates. Also, clear your browser’s cache properly after applying for the form.

Exam Timings for CA Intermediate May 2023
The exam timings set by the ICAI is 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, i.e. the afternoon session is the same as earlier. However, the timings for the Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Muscat Centres will be 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM, which corresponds/is equivalent to Indian timings.
The exam timings at Doha Centre will be 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM, corresponding to the Indian time 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The timings at the Kathmandu Centre will be 2:15 PM to 5:15 PM again corresponding to the Indian timings.

CA Intermediate Application Form Correction Window
Students who made any error or mistake while filling the CA Intermediate Exam Form of May 2023 will be given one chance to correct all the errors. ICAI will open the Correction Window for students to make corrections in the Medium, Group, Centre, Zone, Region, etc.
Correction Window 1– ICAI will open the 1st correction window from March 4 to March 10, 2023. In Correction Window 1, students can change or correct their error in the Medium or Centre and ICAI don’t charge any amount for Correction Window 1.

- Go to the website icaiexam.icai.org and choose the login option from the top panel of the screen.
- Once you open your dashboard, make the changes you want, and upload a written/typed application signed by you.
- Submit the changes.
If your change request is accepted, it will be shown on your Admit Card.
What if the Candidate’s Photographs or Signature are not appearing on the CA Intermediate Exam Form?
