    CA Foundation Syllabus of Paper-2: Business Laws and Business Correspondence and Reporting

    The CA Foundation syllabus of paper 2 is a bit longer in terms of the theoretical parts. It is divided into two sections:

    • Section A- Business Law (60 Marks)
    • Section B- Business Correspondence and Reporting Syllabus (40 Marks)

    CA Foundation Syllabus of Paper-3: Business Mathematics and Logical Reasoning and Statistics

    Business Mathematics is the third paper of the CA Foundation. It helps students to develop an understanding of Basic Maths, Reasoning, and statistics.     CA Foundation Paper Pattern May 2022

    The CA Foundation exam pattern and the marking scheme are as follows:

    1. CA Foundation Exam consists of Four Subjects, each of 100 marks, i.e., 400 marks.
    2. In CA Foundation, two subjects are in an objective pattern, and two are in a subjective Pattern.
    3. Paper 1 and 2 are subjective, and Paper 3 and 4 are Objective types.
    4. There is a 0.25 Negative Marking for every wrong answer to an objective question.
    5. CA Foundation Exams are conducted twice a year, i.e., in Nov.
    6. Students have a choice to give CA Foundation Exams in English or Hindi Medium.
    7. Candidates need to get at least 40% marks in every subject and a minimum of 50% total marks in all subjects.
    8. Each paper is divided into sections with a given approximate range of marks weightage in the paper.
