How to Dedicate Yourself to CA Intermediate Study
CA Intermediate is the second level examination in the Chartered Accountancy curriculum and clearing it in the first attempt is not an easy task. You have to completely focus on your studies to crack this exam.
Remember these three words for getting success – DECIDE to COMMIT and SUCCEED.
Many of the students asked how they could dedicate themselves to the IPCC studies. Here in the given article, we are sharing you some tips or suggestions given by our renowned teachers that how can you dedicate yourself to your studies.
Prepare a Time-Table
Before starting your studies, you should have made a plan for at least a further 4 months or more whatever is left for your exams. Thoroughly make a plan of what to do, when to do, how to do. Until you don’t prepare a genuine plan you cannot move your studies in the correct direction.
First, you should be well informed about the CA Intermediate Syllabus. Then, plan your books from which you are going to complete your studies, thereafter decide the subjects going to complete first. Plan a day in a week for the revision and leave the last month for practising the CA Intermediate mock test papers and past year papers.
Never Procrastinate Your Time-Table
This is one of the worst habits most of the students have. Making a hardcore success driving timetable is super easy but what difficult is its execution. Until you won’t be regular at your time – table, you can never complete your course on time. So, make a genuine timetable and stick to it.
Planning and execution together can only help you in getting good CA Inter results.
IF YOU REALLY WANT TO DO SOMETHING, YOU WILL FIND A WAY. BUT IF YOU DON’T, YOU WILL FIND AN EXCUSE.
Stay Away from Mobile Phone
Social Media is the biggest disaster for your studies. To concentrate your studies, you have to switch off your phone and stay away from social media.
In case you are living without your family then you can talk to them for ½ hour but don’t waste too much time in chatting with your friends.
STAY POSITIVE, WORK HARD, AND MAKE IT HAPPEN.
Switch Off the TV as well
In the beginning, it may be quiet hard for you to stay away from phone or TV but slowly it will be in your habit and you will not waste your time in watching 2-3 hour movie or a daily soap.
On completion of your exams, watch as many movies as you want but until that you should not involve yourself in such activities.

Get up Early
Many of the students prefer an all-night study, and if you are from such then this is not for you. Early morning time is the best time to cover up your theory subjects. In the morning your mind is fresh and you can learn easily with ease as well as retain it for a much longer time. So, involve getting up early in your habit and start studying.
DO IT WITH PASSION OR NOT AT ALL.
Don’t Skip Revision
Revision is the most important part of your study. Make a timetable that timely covers revision. You will perform in exam only that much what you have retained and in order to retain what you have learned, 5 times revision is the must.
Your outcome should be better and more polished in comparison to your initial product. With the multiple times’ revision, you can cut down the unnecessary topics and correct your mistakes.
Consider RTPs and Practice Manual
Practice makes a man perfect. Once you have completed the chapter or the entire course, you should keep practising questions from the practice manual. The more and more you practice, the more you will gain clarity on topics.
Cover the practice manual at least 2 times and on completion of your course, at least one time go through RTP of the past 3-4 attempts, important for your exam.
Stick Over One Material
Don’t rush over multiple books at a time, stick to one material. Deciding study material is the first part of your plan, so be careful in deciding such a thing. Rather than changing the books revise it multiple times as switching books can waste your precious time and create confusion.
Although, you can practice questions from the multiple books either Practice Manual or question bank or some reference books to practice more and more questions.
Eat Well and Regular Exercise
Many of the students skip a meal to awake overnight for the studies. But don’t you dare to commence such a stupid mistake. During the exams, you need more energy to work hard, and skipping a meal or eat less is a stupid mistake. You should eat properly, the intake of more fresh fruits and vegetables can help to stay healthy and fresh in your mind.
Exercise is a good idea to energize yourself for the whole day. 15 minutes of meditation and 15 minutes of yoga or some other exercise can help to study all day without getting sleepy.
Take short Breaks
Making a genuine timetable, studying for 10 hours regularly is a foolish idea as it only increases your labour hours and decreases your effective hours. So, plan your study such that it increases your effective hours and decreases your labour hours.
Take short breaks in between every 2-3 hours for 15-20 minutes so that you can give better outcomes and if possible then either take 8 hours of sleep at a time, rest 1-2 hours during the day, and remaining in the night to refresh yourself.
Join Some Library
If you have a separate room then it is well and good but if not then you are advised to join some library near to your home where you can focus on your study without getting disturbed and of course you will like to study more inspired by your surrounding.
This is some advice which you should definitely consider if you want to completely dedicate to your studies. In case you feel the need for proper guidance you can join a good CA Intermediate coaching institute, if that is not available in your city you can join ca intermediate online classes also. Just remember students, Chartered Accountancy is not a tough course until you are not focused. Switching off your phone, stay away from TV won’t work until you want to study and crack this exam anyhow.
PUT YOUR HEART, MIND, AND SOUL INTO EVEN YOUR SMALLEST ACTS BECAUSE THIS IS THE SECRET OF SUCCESS.
