ICAI News – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has announced the ICAI Convocation Sept 2026 for newly enrolled Chartered Accountants. According to the official notice issued by the Members & Students Services (M&SS) Directorate on 18th August, 2026, the convocation will be held on 12th Sept., 2026 across several cities in India.
The ICAI Convocation in September 2026 is for members who joined ICAI between May 1 & August 15, 2026. If you’re eligible, you’ll get your Certificate of Membership and, if applicable, your Certificate of Practice (COP) at the event.
Who Can Attend ICAI Convocation Sept 2026?
According to ICAI, if you register as a member between 1 May & 15 Aug., you can take part in the upcoming convocation. They’re also honoring the rank holders from the CA Final May 2026 exam—you’ll get recognized and receive your Rank Certificate during the event.
This makes the CA Convocation Sept 2026 an important event for newly qualified Chartered Accountants beginning their professional journey.
ICAI Convocation Sept 2026 Centres
The convocation will be conducted on 12th September, 2026 at 23 centres across five regions:
- Western Region: Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Nagpur & Pune
- Southern Region: Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Ernakulam, Hyderabad & Vijayawada
- Eastern Region: Bhubaneswar, Guwahati & Kolkata
- Central Region: Bhopal, Ghaziabad, Indore, Lucknow, Jaipur, Ranchi & Raipur
- Northern Region: Chandigarh, Ludhiana & New Delhi
How Will Eligible Members Get Convocation Details?
ICAI has stated that eligible members will be informed individually by the M&SS Directorate. The communication will provide details such as the venue, reporting time & other instructions, along with confirmation of participation.
The detailed programme & centre-wise information will also be published on the official ICAI website. Members should therefore keep checking ICAI updates & their registered communication channels.
