ICAI News – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has invited Chartered Accountants and subject experts to contribute Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for the ICAI AICITSS Question Bank 2026. The official announcement was issued by the ICAI Examination Department on October 1, 2026.

The questions will be used for the Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS) – Advanced IT Test.

Who Can Contribute Questions?

According to ICAI, Chartered Accountants and experts working with different organisations, institutions and universities can submit MCQs for the AICITSS question bank.

Contributors have to prepare the questions in MS Word format and send them to [email protected] along with the duly filled Interest Declaration Form provided by ICAI.

ICAI AICITSS Test Pattern

The Advanced IT Test is compulsory for eligible CA students before appearing in the CA Final Examination. Students must first clear the CA Intermediate Examination and complete the prescribed 15-day Advanced Information Technology Training.

The test contains 100 MCQs carrying one mark each and has a duration of two hours. Candidates need at least 40 marks to qualify. There is no negative marking in the examination.

Guidelines for Submitting MCQs

ICAI has asked contributors to ensure that every question has four options — A, B, C and D — with only one correct answer. The correct answer and its source, including the module, unit and page number, should also be mentioned.

Options such as “All of the above”, “None of the above” and similar interdependent choices should not be used. Questions must also be original and should not be copied from books, ICAI study material, coaching material or other examinations.

₹500 Honorarium Per Selected MCQ

ICAI will pay an honorarium of ₹500 for every MCQ selected by its review panel. The Institute will have the final authority regarding the selection of questions, and the copyright of selected MCQs will vest with the ICAI Council.

Those interested in contributing to the ICAI Advanced IT Question Bank 2026 should carefully read the official guidelines before submitting their questions.
