ICAI News – The ICAI Correction Window Jan 2026 is now live for candidates who filled the Jan 2026 exam application. If you made a mistake in your form, like the wrong exam city, medium, test group or photo then you can correct it during this short window. The Institute has opened the correction facility after the exam form submission period closed.
Key dates to note:
The online application form began on 3rd November, 2025, last date to apply without late fee was 16th November, 2025, & the late-fee window closed on 19th November, 2025. The correction window starts from 20th November, 2025 to 22nd November, 2025. These dates are published on the ICAI exam pages and confirmed by major education outlets.
What you can change:
During the ICAI correction window January 2026 you may update your test city, medium of examination, test group, & replace or re-upload your photograph (follow ICAI guidelines). Note that not all fields are editable — check the SSP portal options carefully before and during the correction window.
How to correct
- Log in to the ICAI SSP/online exam portal with your credentials.
- Open your submitted application and choose the correction option.
- Make the allowed edits, upload documents if required, and save.
- Review changes and keep a screenshot for your records.
Why act now: the correction window is short and final. Changes after it closes are normally not accepted. If you missed applying before the late fee deadline, you can’t use the correction window to submit a fresh application as it only edits submitted forms.
