The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has announced the CMA Intermediate Result for June 2025 on 11th August, 2025 along with the pass percentage.
The exams were conducted under the 2022 syllabus, and participation from candidates across the country was seen.
CMA Intermediate Result June 2025 Pass Percentage
Group-I only
- Appeared: 26,974
- Passed: 2,864
- Pass percentage: 10.62%
Several students said the paper was lengthy and tricky, with more focus on problem-solving than expected.
Group-II only
- Appeared: 15,333
- Passed: 4,664
- Pass percentage: 30.42%
This was the highest pass rate among the three categories. Many candidates described the paper as “balanced” and “fair,” though some said time management was still a challenge.
Both Groups together
- Appeared: 9,998
- Passed both groups: 864
- Passed one group: 1,375
- Pass percentage (both groups): 8.64%
Attempting both groups in one go proved to be the toughest option.
CMA Inter Result June 2025: 5,491 Candidates Advance to Final
Following the announcement, ICMAI confirmed that 5,491 candidates have now completed the Intermediate Course and are eligible for the CMA Final stage.
The CMA Intermediate exam has a tough evaluation and wide syllabus, covering topics from cost accounting to corporate laws. It is often cleared after more than one attempt, and preparation with a clear plan and consistent practice is recommended to candidates.
With the June 2025 CMA Intermediate result now out, coaching institutes across cities have begun their new batches for the upcoming attempt. For those who cleared this stage, attention turns to the CMA Final, the last hurdle before earning the designation of Cost and Management Accountant.
