ICAI News – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially announced that the CA Intermediate Group II — Paper 5 (Auditing & Ethics), which was re-scheduled for 19 January 2026, has now been postponed. The Institute says the exam is postponed across India & abroad & that a revised date will be announced in due course.
After an earlier reschedule from 15 Jan to 19 Jan (announced on 27 Dec 2025), ICAI has now postponed the CA Inter Auditing & Ethics exam because of “certain unavoidable circumstances.”
Are other papers affected? No — ICAI has clearly stated that other exam dates remain unchanged. Only Group II — Paper 5 is affected.
When will the new date come? ICAI will soon announce the revised date on its website; candidates must watch official channels.
