The CA Final new course will most likely apply from the May 2024 attempt. Students appearing in the 2024 exams must check the latest updates.
Students must pass both groups of the CA Intermediate course and complete the ICITSS training.
Completed AICITSS training, completed 6 months study period after articleship training is over, finished 4 self-paced modules.
In the new scheme, the CA Final registration is valid for 10 years and can be revalidated afterwards with prescribed fees.
ICAI has reduced the CA Final subjects from 8 to 6. Now, there will be 2 groups, each having 3 papers.
1. Papers 4 & 5 are moved to self-paced modules,
2. No option in Paper 6. 3. Elective papers are now part of self-paced modules.
There will be 30% MCQ questions in all the papers and a negative marking of .25 marks on the wrong answers to objective questions.
If you get an exemption in the new course, then it will be permanent. Then you only need to clear the remaining papers with 50%.
ICAI will give the Business Associate certificate to students who want to leave the CA course. But you must clear CA Inter, all training & self-paced modules.
